Second Chance San Tans
I’ve done my fair share of lovin’ on the San Tans as well as dissin’ on the San Tans – But I’ve never complained about the beauty of the San Tans.
This solo rider totally captured the essence of this pristine desert. Even though the trails are now wide, I guess the silver lining is you can take your eyes off the trail long enough to look around and soak up Rock Peak and the Malpais mountains. It’s time to revisit the San Tans. Thanks for the inspiration Brigham.

I’ve got a TOPO map posted here: http://mtbikeaz.com/trail-index/phoenix/san-tan-mountain-park/
Stick with the Moonlight, Santan, Hedgehog, San Tan Loop – CCW for fast and flowing doubletrack. Avoid Malpais (sand) Upper Goldmine (gnarly tech fest)
That trail looks like fun. How do i get to it? Is that the riding area just west of Johnsons Ranch in Queen Creek?
